These generous companies support United Way by covering our adminstrative costs, because they know the benefit to our community of having a well-run United Way with excellent business and financial practices.
At UWENM we keep our administrative costs low through controlling our budget and our extensive use of volunteers. We are proud to report that our administrative cost (20%) is well below the Better Business Bureau standard of 35% and is less than most large organizations.
Thanks to our Corporate Cornerstones companies which underwrite much of our administrative cost and thanks to our Media United companies which donate all the advertising space utilized to promote UWENM, more of your donation goes to help the people in this community who need it most.
