2-1-1 Cares: Diaper Drive is Fighting Child Abuse

United Way of ENM, Citizens Bank of Clovis and Xcel Energy are challenging Clovis & Portales to collect 15,000 diapers during the month of June. We believe we can all do a little extra to support our littlest citizens and in this way we can prevent child abuse. Families with small children often find it difficult to make ends meet every month. Diapers are one expense that these families struggle with. In order to help, the United Way is collecting diapers.

When a family is in need, a pack of diapers can:

  • Reduce a parent’s stress;
  • Keep a baby drier, healthier, and happier;
  • Give parents a confidence boost because they can now meet their child’s needs.

Diapers drop off locations are

  • United Way Office in Clovis located at 1200 Thornton
  • Clovis Chamber of Commerce 105 E Grand
  • First Baptist Church in Portales at 100 S Ave C.

Size 3 diapers are especially appreciated.
